Pokémon Trainer Guess Sinnoh Edition

Pokemon Trainer Guess is a self-contained electronic game: one player thinks of a Pokemon, and a talking Poke Ball works out which one it is by asking a series of questions. Answers are spoken out loud - yes, no, I don't know, or depends - and the ball uses speech recognition to hear them and talks back, so no reading is needed to play a round. The Sinnoh Edition covers 107 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region, and each one the ball successfully identifies is added to a collection stored in the device.

Each edition in the Trainer Guess line is modeled on a different type of Poke Ball, and the Sinnoh unit uses the Premier Ball design: a glossy white ball with a red band around the middle and a white center button, rather than the red-topped standard Poke Ball. The silhouette is the one people expect; the coloring is not.

The box contains the Poke Ball, a printed Field Guide covering the Pokemon the device can identify, and three AAA batteries, so it works without a separate battery run. Ultra Pro rates it for one or more players ages 6 and up, with a playing time of about 15 minutes. This is an officially licensed Pokemon product, manufactured by Zanzoon and distributed by Ultra Pro Entertainment. It is a standalone toy - it does not contain trading cards and is not played with them.
